The rest of the day will be at leisure for you to relax and acclimatize yourself to the high altitude reaction. This morning we will visit the landmark of Lhasa-【the Potala Palace】. Potala in Sanskrit means sacred place of the Goddness of Mercy. It is the ancient time castle-style architectures with the highest altitude. We will be viewing the Winter Palace within the Potala Palace. It is also the Tibetan Political Centre and resident for previous Dalai Lama since the seventh century AD. Then visit the ancient【Jokhang Temple】which is the sacred place in the eye of all Tibetan Buddhism followers. Thereafter, walk around the most bustling handicraft market of Lhasa-【the Barkhor Street】, for some minority handicraft souvenirs. Later, visit a Tibetan tea store. Today we will set off from Lhasa, climbing over the【Kambala Snow Mountain】with an altitude of 4900 meters to visit 【the Yamdrok Lake】-it is the world’s highest altitude fresh water lake and renown as the sacred lake in the sky. D 4,Shigatse-Lhasa meals:B L D After breakfast, we will visit the【Tashilhunpo Monastery】, which is the rest in peace place of Panchen Lama and also one of the 6 major monasteries for Tibetan Yellow Sect. This monastery was built by the first Panchen Lama in 1447 and thereafter became the resident of all the previous Panchen Lama. D 5,Lhasa meals:B L D After breakfast, visit the only Temple of wealth in Tibet-【Grashi Monastery】. Then proceed to the Geological Mining Museum where you can appreciate the mysterious Tibetan bead and the art of Tibetan Thangka. After lunch, visit one of the three largest monasteries in Lhasa-【Sera Monastery】. The Gelugpa or Yellow Hat Sect of Tibetan Buddhism studies Buddhist doctrines using a step-by-step process. As a part of their study, lamas must participate in debates to further their comprehension and proceed to more advanced levels of study. The debating traditions in the Sera Monastery are unique among the three famous monasteries in Lhasa. D 6,Lhasa Departure meals:X X X After breakfast, transfer to the airport for the flight to your next destination.
Altitude Reaction: as you are walking over high land, it is possible for you to feel some of the minor symptoms and discomfort of altitude sickness like headache, loss of appetite etc until your body adjusts to the high terrain. If it is not serious, please do not rely on oxygen equipment all the time so that you can acclimate yourself to the high altitude as early as possible. Please don't worry and take as much water as possible. You may prepare some health care medicine such as: American ginseng tablet, rhodiola rosea or plateau peaceful capsule. It’s a good way to keep a usual mind. Please follow tour guide’s advice.
dos and donts: don’t do anything strenuous like brisk walking and running on the first day; don’t smoke nor drink alcohol either; don’t eat too much for dinner; don’t take showers or bathes too frequently especially on your first night in Tibet.

A single supplement applies for travelers who require single-occupancy room, including the circumstances caused by the cancellation of other travelers in the same room.
